Phyllida: My New Album - Phyllida (UK)

Phyllida wants to share her new album with you. It’s inspired by months of soul searching, emotional discovery, messing around on the piano… and the audience’s ideas. You may smile, you may laugh, you may cry, you might even sing along...

Phil has been improvising for several years, both on stage and behind the piano. He’s worked with several leading UK groups including Music Box, Hoopla Impro, The Nursery and The Maydays, and as his solo character Phyllida. He has performed several shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and at many international improvisation festivals. He has taught improv in London with Hoopla, in Brussels with ImproBubble, and when visiting schools and festivals across Europe.

The Big Improvised Musical - Barcelona Improv Group (Spain)

… is the hottest ticket in town for the opening (and closing) night of this never-before-seen and never-to-be-seen-again musical comedy, complete with show-stopping musical numbers, epic story lines, larger than life characters and a healthy dose of that Broadway sparkle. The audience provides one fabulous suggestion and the players and musician spin them into a brand new all-singing, all-dancing spectacular that will have you dancing in your seats and humming all the way home.

Hitch Your Wagon - Tea & Toast (UK)

Take a trip to the old West and join rootin’ tootin’ improv cowfolk Tea & Toast for some songs by the campfire. After a hard day ridin’ horses they’re enjoying some moonshine, tellin’ stories and singing ditties about masked bandits, lost love, shootouts with the sheriff and wild nights in the saloon. The audience gives us the name of the song and we make it up, music, words and all.

Tea & Toast are Simon Goodway, Josh Hards, Elena Kerrigan, Kathy Manson and Ric Stewart. The Brighton, UK-based group has been performing improvised comedy since 2016. Their style is grounded in truth and relationships, with a delicious dash of the silly. Tea and Toast have performed at the Barcelona Big Sing, Improv Fest Ireland, Komedia, and London’s Hoopla and Nursery Theatres and host regular improv nights at the Actors.
