In this workshop, participants will learn about the influences impacting musicals written in the late twentieth century to the present day, understand hallmarks of modern melody and lyric writing and how they differ from prior styles, and be able to recreate songs found in stage and screen musicals such as Wicked, Waitress, and La La Land.
